As most of you already know my son, Dr. Langley Bowers, will be joining our practice as an associate starting July 15th. You can imagine how proud I am, and how fortunate we are, to be able to take advantage of his exceptional clinical skills. We will be able to make your care timelier and more flexible. 

Our office will now be open Monday through Friday. We will have considerably more doctor time available to take care of your needs. You will also notice that we will become East Capitol Dental. New era, new name, same personal care and exceptional dentistry. I want everyone to meet Dr. Langley when you come in, so he will be examining you at your regular cleanings. I want to stress that I am not leaving the office; my hours will be Tuesday through Thursday starting in August. 

Jess and Sonia will do their very best to make sure that you are taken care of by the doctor of your choice. Our goal is that you will get to know both of us and be completely comfortable with your care. 

Dr. Langley won't brag about himself, but I will! He was one of two students to get the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity Scholarship for outstanding academic achievement and community service. As a senior, he was awarded the General Practice Director's award for clinical excellence. He received the Frank Jerbi award for the one senior who excels in removable dentures. Langley was inducted by the faculty into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. 

At his graduation, one of his clinical professors came up to me and said, "You are so lucky to be getting such an exceptional associate!" I am lucky, and very proud to be able to work with Dr. Langley. 

Together we will continue the long tradition of exceptional adult restorative and cosmetic dentistry on Capitol Hill. Although many of you will have met him already, we are planning an Open House to meet Dr. Langley on Thursday, September 12th from 3-5. 

We'll remind you again, but please mark your calendars. Thank you all for your years of support. We are happy to assure you that your care will continue for many, many years.
